Langkawi Cable Car
A ride on the cable car will bring you to the top of Mat Cincang Mountain, Langkawi’s second highest peak, overlooking the amazing view of the Andaman Sea as well as Langkawi Island. It is also known as “The Longest Free Span Single Rope Cable Car”. There is also a beautiful garden where visitors are able to pass through and many souvenir shops to buy mementos.

Dataran Lang (Eagle Square)
Langkawi’s most prominent landmark situated near Kuah Jetty. The square is beautifully landscaped with scenic ponds, bridges and covered terraces, and is especially beautiful when illuminated at night. Its main attraction is the magnificent huge 12 metres statue of the reddish brown eagle. Legend has it that Langkawi is named after this magnificent bird, ‘Lang’ meaning bird and ‘Batu Kawi’ meaning ‘brown stone’. Besides having excellent views of Kuah Bay, the square also features beautiful miniature fountains as well as terraces and bridges. |

Langkawi Underwater World
One of the largest marine and fresh water aquaria in South East Asia, located at the southern end of the famous Chenang Beach, where you can find over 200 species of animals and marine life being exhibit, including harbour seals, rock hopper penguins, sharks, giant rays and the enormous Amazonian arapaima – the biggest freshwater fish in the world. |
